The project has also developed a quality of governance standards for forest projects and programmes associated with Red panda conservation and natural habitat protection, with the long-term aim of developing a certification system and associated labelling scheme to alleviate poverty by developing benefit sharing and incentives development mechanism.<\/p>\n<p>Anita is a post Doctorate Research Fellow at the Kathmandu Forestry College, Kathmandu, Nepal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-1955-1\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div class=\"partner-organisation-block panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-1955-1\" ><div id=\"pgc-1955-1-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-1955-1-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_ipw panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" ><div data-post-id=\"554\" class=\"insert-page insert-page-554 \">The Red Panda Network is a world leader in efforts to protect red pandas and their habitat.\u00a0It uses an integrated, landscape-level approach to conservation that is built on the support and participation of local communities. Their\u00a0conservation programs extend to over one million acres of forest and 50% of Nepal\u2019s red panda range.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-1955-1-1\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-1955-1-1-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_ipw panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"2\" ><div data-post-id=\"554\" class=\"insert-page insert-page-554 \"><a
